Cash In On The Convenience Economy...

Three things factor into most restaurant orders/visits. Cost, convenience, and experience. Since people will pay more for convenience and experience... cost becomes a bit flexible. That means...

If you've been waiting to attract MORE customers who spend MORE money... the "wait" is over (better be)...  

So, my brother-in-law, Tony had a sign in his insurance office that said...

"Please wait in our waiting area."

That sounds inviting (LOL)...

His eyes bugged out of his head when I suggested he change that to

"Please relax in our client lounge."

He was giddy with delight at that simple suggestion... he'd just never considered the implications of telling people to "wait."

Waiting Sucks

When you have to "wait" in a doctor's office, DMV, or at a restaurant... you feel disrespected... like you're a shmuck.

But, being ushered in... VIP... is a whole different experience. You feel important... like your time matters. 

You return again and again... for that feeling.

People Move Towards Respect...

They gravitate to (and even pay MORE) for experiences that make them feel important.

So, what Domino's has done here is brilliant. They promise to solve one of our biggest annoyances... "waiting..." by bringing it to our attention, and then making it go away.

By introducing a "2-minute, no-waiting guarantee..." they paint a "picture" of quick in-and-out, no waiting... everyone catering to YOU.  

Funny thing is... it's not even a real guarantee (you'll see what I mean in the video)...

Anyway, this is worth watching... absorbing... and implementing at your restaurant.

Fact is... you can easily do the same thing... in your restaurant or pizzeria with Facebook ads, print, email... whatever you're using to drive traffic...
